No Vermont stations were on the FCC’s recent list of EEO audits. But Attorney David Oxenford reminds us of the FCC’s current EEO obligations and encourages us to keep an eye out for changes in the near future as a result of the FCC’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking released on 6/21.

As EEO enforcement has recently been transferred to the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau, we can expect that enforcement will be vigorous. The FCC impose fines on stations that cannot demonstrate compliance, so make sure you can!
